Supervision Services
ERSA Global Group offers a broad range of supervision services to meet your needs. The main objective is to verify the materials/goods that have been transferred, shipped and discharged are the same quantity and quality that were confirmed at load-port. We supervise and verify that the material/goods are being properly handled, shipped and stored in a secure manner according to the contractual obligations.
ERSA Global supervises transportation and/or transshipment operations where the material is received. At the smelter, ERSA Global supervises weighing operation, ensuring accuracy of the scales used. We then confirm total wet outturn weight.
For the mining sector, ERSA Global supervises:
- Representative sampling procedure from beginning to end
- Samples preparation
- Moisture determination
- Checks lot size average moisture content
- Dry weight
- Perform sealing of samples conjointly with the receiver/smelter
- Detailed lot size results
- The cleaning, sweeping and end collection of material
- Other specific contractual instructions
In addition, ERSA Global also ensures that tarpaulins are used to prevent spillage loss during discharge. ERSA Global only employs the highest skilled supervision inspectors who use sampling techniques that will represent an accurate representation of the material.

We document discharge operation with several photographs and technical notes taken by our experienced staff. On completion of discharge operation, ERSA Global informs you immediately and sends a final report including all of the required documentation.
The ERSA Global report usually contains: NOR, berthing information, inspection of the holds report, copies of load port manifest, stowage plan, date and time of commence of discharge, initial draft survey report, discharge schedule, discharge rate, detailed weight list of vehicles used for the discharge, sampling report of vehicles, gross and tare weights of vehicles, detailed moisture test results, calculations and comparison of net dry weights, comparison of weights with the receiver, duly signed and confirmed, critical analysis of discharge and dispatch of cargo, flow sheet of samples preparation, daily work and time sheet, photographs documenting our attendance and any additional information required by the contract.
